Rohit Shetty is gearing up to take audiences on an action-packed ride in Singham Again, the third installment in his cop universe film series which began with Singham (2011) and Singham Returns (2014).

Ajay Devgn has emerged as one of Bollywood’s most beloved actors over the last decade. The actor gave riveting performances in films such as Raincoat (2004), Yuva (2004), and Apaharan (2006) for which he won the Filmfare Best Villain Award, Gangaajal (2007), among many others; also received accolades such as Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor.
Since 2011, Akshay Kumar has starred in three installments of the Singham franchise, and its third film is scheduled for release later this year – featuring an impressive cast including Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, and Deepika Padukone – Kareena posted an Instagram picture featuring all four.
The film will star Ajay Devgn in his signature role of Bajirao Singham and also feature Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh recapturing their respective characters, Simmba and Veer Sooryavanshi respectively. Additionally, Arjun Kapoor will return as an antagonist.
Deepika Padukone will make her film debut as ACP Satya in Singham Again, joining Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Kareena Kapoor already cast in this movie.
Rohit Shetty has spent extensive effort crafting the script of Singham Again and is set to deliver a blockbuster film. Starring both veteran actors as well as up-and-comers, expect exciting action scenes coupled with drama and romance throughout this cinematic release set for August 15, 2024. Kareena Kapoor Khan will return for another film set in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again movie, this time reprising her role as DCP Bajirao Singham’s wife Avni in Jaane Jaan. Additionally, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar will reprise their key roles; Deepika Padukone may even make a cameo appearance.
Singham Again will be the fifth installment in the franchise and sequel to Singham Returns. According to director Joseph Kosinski, this installment promises even more action and stunts. Kareena Kapoor seems eager to embrace a new challenge with Singham Again; she has worked hard at getting into character as soon as possible and looks poised for success!
Kareena Kapoor Khan took to social media recently to post a picture with Arjun Kapoor, who will play Arjun Singham in Singham Again. Her caption read, “Fierce, strong and confident! Meet Avni Singham!” as well as including hashtags #SinghamAgain and #KareenaKapoorKhan; fans were delighted that Kareena was back in this franchise!
Arjun Kapoor joins an already powerful cast in Singham Again as Arjun is known for his larger-than-life cop dramas. Arjun will portray a bloodied villain that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats throughout this August release date that coincides with Independence Day.

Arjun Kapoor made his Bollywood debut nearly 12 years ago in Habib Faisal’s Ishaqzaade and since then, has struggled to establish himself within Bollywood. Recently though, Rohit Shetty’s cop-dramas may be where Arjun found his calling and now features in Singham Again as an antagonist; when sharing an intense look from Singham Again recently on social media it quickly garnered him notice.
He appears menacing in his black Kurta with blood all over it and wielding a knife, sporting a thick beard and curly locks and sporting thick locks of curly hair that curl under his fingers. In this picture, he promises mayhem for Singham again.
According to reports, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and Tiger Shroff will come together for a dance song choreographed by Ganesh Acharya with 400 background dancers in attendance over four days for filming of Singham Again’s main cast song titled ‘Choir Boyz.’ Unfortunately, it remains uncertain if Deepika Padukone will join this shoot or not.

Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone will join Ajay Devgn’s cop universe cast for the first time in Singham Again, returning as Ajay Devgn’s wife Kareena Kapoor (Avni Kamat in Singham Returns and Singham). According to reports, Deepika will play an essential part in helping Singham and other officers advance the plot.
Arjun Kapoor has joined Singham Again cast as its menacing antagonist, expanding Rohit Shetty’s cop universe. His fiery first look has garnered much praise and is setting up an explosive confrontation between Singham and him.
Ranveer Singh will reprise his cop role after five years. Simmba (2018) was an offshoot from the Singham series and Ranveer is expected to bring that same enthusiasm for Singham Again.
Singham Again is an intense action film directed by Rohit Shetty that promises to deliver for fans of its genre. Shantanu Srivastava (Badhai Ho, Tevar), Kshitij Patwardhan (Mauli, Faster Fene and Timepass 2), Yunus Sajawal (Simmba and other Rohit Shetty films) and Milap Zaveri (Kaante and Shootout at Wadala) will all write scripts. Reliance Entertainment will produce and distribute Singham Again until release later in 2024.
Tiger Shroff
Rohit Shetty is currently working on Singham Again, the third installment in his popular cop franchise. Starring Ajay Devgn in the lead role and featuring other big-name actors as supporting cast, the film is scheduled for release on August 20, 2024–coincident with Independence Day. Recently, Rohit shared behind-the-scenes video footage from film shoots which showed an action scene where an explosive car flew past him while driving at high speed; such videos have generated quite some hype around this project.
Apart from Ajay Devgn, Singham Again features Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor Khan in its cast.
